      Half sisters Lucy and Juliet barely know each other, and they couldn't be more different. Juliet lives an isolated existence in the quiet and quaint Hartley-by-the-Sea in England's Lake District. Lucy, meanwhile, has made a spectacular mess of her life in Boston thanks, in part, to their eccentric artist mother. When Lucy comes to stay with her older sister for a few months, she's expecting tea and a shoulder to cry on, but Juliet can barely tolerate the sister who got all their mother's attention. As Lucy's stay lengthens, both women find that, as different as they are, they each have something to learn from the other about forgiveness and family.
