The Magic Pony Carousel has come to the town fair!
Amy wants to ride the beautiful dark bay pony named Brightheart. As soon as she settles into the saddle, the magic carousel whisks them off on an adventure. Once they gallop through the silvery sparkles, Brightheart turns into a real live pony with a jingling bridle.
She and Brightheart travel back to the days of knights and princesses. In the forest near a stone castle, they find Prince Henry practicing for a tournament.
The clumsy prince keeps tumbling into the dirt because his heavy armor clatters and his visor slips over his eyes. Amy bravely puts on Henry's suit of armor to take his place in the competition.
Before the royal trumpet sounds, she must balance a wobbly lance and steer her pony down the field. Will she be able to learn to fight like a knight in time to help a young prince?
