Like Tara Duggan's Waffles: Fun Recipes for Every Meal and Dorie Greenspan's Waffles: From Morning to Midnight, this collection includes traditional (Buttermilk, Malted) and unusual (Amber Ale, Black Sesame) waffle variations for all courses. Some recipes, like Fried Chicken and Waffles with Bacon Gravy, are dressed-up creations with enough toppings to make a full meal. Each includes metric and U.S. measurements and helpful tips, like how to scale, freeze, reheat, or make ahead of time. VERDICT Though this book doesn't add much to the genre, it is thoughtfully executed and attractive.
