      David Colacci has been the voice of the Commissario Guido Brunetti series for the past 10 years. He narrates Donna Leon's twenty-fourth Brunetti mystery with the expertise of one who knows his characters well. World-famous diva Flavia Petrelli is in Venice, performing TOSCA at La Fenice. It seems the diva has a stalker. Outrageous numbers of yellow roses have been appearing wherever she performs. When a bouquet appears at the door of the private apartment she's using while in town, Flavia mentions her concern to Brunetti and his wife, Paola. Colacci disappears into the storytelling. He shifts swiftly and believably among the many familiar characters, allowing their quirks and mannerisms to shine through. Colacci's performance makes opera, mystery, and FALLING IN LOVE much fun.
