Going Rogue

Love her or loathe her, there's no denying that many find Sarah Palin to be a persuasive speaker, and those skills transfer flawlessly to the audio format. As the new Fox commentator recounts her childhood, early days in politics, and experience in the 2008 presidential campaign, it's easy to visualize the facial expressions and gestures that accompany her words. Palin's pacing and vocal expression are well suited to her story, especially when she adds a convincing sarcastic tone as she discusses her critics. Indeed, she doesn't hesitate to call out those she believes to be her enemies, arguing that her every move is motivated by a genuine desire to serve the people. Palin's performance is a strong debut.
